Exceptional breakfast with a warm atmosphere.

The breakfast featured homemade jam and a hearty full English spread, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The rooms had generous amenities like a fridge and microwave, allowing for comfort during the stay.
There's a dangerously low skirting in the room that had me ducking more than I'd like to admit. Watch out for that step down into the shower room. it’s all too easy to forget when you’re half asleep in the night. The road leading to the property had significant potholes, making for a less than pleasant arrival.

The bed was comfy, but the shower had way too much power.

absolutelye not what I expected! The shower battered me black and blue, and the bed was rumpled. I thought I'd at least be compensated with a complimentary gesture, but nothing! The road to the property is also a disaster. I almost thought of giving a good review, but just couldn't, I mean, come on now.

Beautiful garden area perfect for relaxing after exploring.
We encountered issues with sound transmission between rooms, making it hard to sleep at times. the hot water took a frustratingly long time to heat up after turning it on. The breakfast options were a bit limited, lacking fresh fruit or pastries, which seemed unfair for the price point.

I had an incredible stay, especially loving the generous full English breakfast and the spacious, comfortable room that truly felt like a suite. Just a heads up, accessing the property can be a bit tricky due to the narrow lane!

Amazing stay with a charming host!
We felt right at home. Alison was so welcoming, and the breakfasts were top-notch! We loved the cozy breakfast room with a view of the garden. Oh, and the spacious garden for relaxing was just perfect. Only hiccup was the slightly bumpy access road, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our awesome trip at all.

quiet stay but minor flaws
The host was exceptional. Enjoyed hearty breakfasts with quality ingredients. The standard king room offered a pleasant garden view that added tranquility.
The bed, while comfortable, was a bit low for easy access.

missingWrote a review on Mar 15comfortable roomdelicious breakfastpoor road accessincomplete features
Immense attention to detail in the room, including a domestic-sized fridge with fresh milk and a welcoming array of tea and coffee, made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast featuring fresh farm-to-table products was a highlight, although access to the property was hindered by a bumpy, poorly maintained road.
